Monthly general membership meetings for May, June and August will be held at
the field and all other meetins will be held at the
Henry J. Sweeney American Legion Post, 251 Maple Street Manchester, NH
First Monday of the month at 7:30 pm.
Board Meetings are held on the third Tuesday of the month, 7:30 pm at Liberty
Air. All members are welcome to attend.

Pointer's Barry Camp Scholarships are being accepted, deadline the March
2007 meeting. Open to kids from 10 to 16 years of age. Please contact Ernie

The Pointers Annual Banquet will be held on April 12 at the Sweeney Post.
Glen Ranfos is planning a great event. Tickets are $20 each and includes a
fabulous family style dinner of ham and roast beef served by the great cooks at
the Sweeney Post. Cash Bar from 6 to 7. Dinner served at 7. For questions or to

to May 1th. 2008
Summer Archery League Rules
May 1, 2008 thru August 2008
Members and Guests of Pointer Fish & Game Club Fee is $5.00 per week.
Children 15 and under are free. Score cards are provided. There are 15 targets.
At the end of the shooting each week, we will tally the money and do a cash
drawing ($1 per shooter) for all participants for that day. You do not have to
be present to win. If you must leave early put card and money in envelope and
put it in the box that has a lock on it. The box is at the bow tower. There
will be an adult stake (16 & up). Children may shoot at a distance the
adult feels is appropriate for the child. At end of season (August) there will
be awards given in several divisions. There must be at least two shooters. If
you can't make every Thursday please feel free to call me (Alfred Dwire
533-7093) and we might be able to work something out.

On May 16th and 17th Pointers will be hosting the Boy Scouts at the field as
candidates will be attempting to earn merit badges in archery, rifle, and
shotgun.

Pointers fish and game club hunter education courses will be conducted In
June as Follows:
Firearms will be conducted on June 2, 7 and 8th 2007 . The course is 20 hours ,
held Friday from 6:00PM till 10:00PM ,Saturday from 6:30 AM until 4:00PM, and
Sunday from 7 AM until 4:00PM. Classes are held at 1671 Brown Ave Iron Workers

The Bow hunter safety course will be conducted on June 14th and 15th,2007. This
course is 12 to 12 hours , Friday from 6:00PM till 10:00PM, and Saturday from

Pointer Fish & Game will be hosting a GSB bowshoot on June 29th and
August 10th, 2008 at the pointers club range. Volunteers will be needed for
setup on June 28 and August 9th and to help run the shoot on June 29th August
10th, 2008. The shoot is open to the public and cost $10 for the general public
and $9 for GSB members. the shoot will be starting at 7AM (last shooter sign-up
is at 11AM). We will be setting up on Saturday, June 28th and August 9th, 2008
at 8AM. The Club will be closed to shooting for the weekend because of this.

Pointer Summer Leagues - Trap and Bow - a great time to learn from
others in the Pointer's Club -- members and guests are welcome at ALL skill
levels! Pointers Archery and Trap Summer Leagues begin the first week in
June.
Trap on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Contact Greg Belanger at

trap.
Bring your ammunition; targets are there. We charge $3 per 25 round of trap
shooters, under 16 are free. Get shot sizes 7, 7 1/2, or 8's in low brass.
There are many experienced shooters there that will give you a hand with
pointers and their experience.

information on the archery league. After 5PM members gather to shoot and teach
others. If you are experienced or a beginner (or in between) this a great place
to learn more about your sport. If you are thinking of starting to shoot a bow,
this is a great place to start.
Come and RELAX with your fellow club members, friends, and new friends for a
casual evening of good fun. We're not into competition -- but into improvement
of all our skills.
Bring something to cook and try some of the exotic offerings that members
have been bringing for all of us to try. You are welcome to bring your beverage
of choice to enjoy after the shooting is done. Pointers furnishes the grill,
the condiments and a great social settings. What a great night of fun -- for
all ages! Come and enjoy your Club and your club's fellowship!

Field Day Clean Up and Setup will be held on Saturday, August 16 th from
9:00 am to noon or till it's done! A light lunch will ge provided. The field
will be closed to shooting all day.
New Members get your hours in. Be sure to sign the time sheets! For information

Field Day will be held, rain or shine, on Sunday August 17th from 9:00 am to
2:00 pm. All members and guests are invited. There is no charge to attend and
all food is free. Events, as of this date, include running deer, muzzle loader,
22 pistol, 22 rifle, paint ball, spin casting, trap shoot, archery and kid's bb
gun.
Other great events are in the planning stages. All members have been asked to
assist with gathering sponsorships and donations for the event. These donations
will help to offset the cost of this great family event. To download a event

All members are needed to assist with Field Day and the Saturday Field
Clean-up. New members this is a time where you can meet and enjoy the
